This is a fantastic area for children to discover the natural
environment and the rural world around them through the National Nature Reserve and the
teaching farm and is open every day of the year from 7.30am to 10.30pm.

Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is situated in the Ile de France
region only around 30km from Paris and has over
two million visitors each year, but lets take a look at some of the activities on offer..
Golf Régional de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines
This is a site popular with amateurs and beginners for its variety and is a public course
that is open to everyone and the green fees are very reasonably priced. They are
cheaper during the week than they are at the weekend and the 9-hole course green fees are
less expensive than that of the two 18-hole green fees.
There are three courses to choose from, two 18-hole and one compact 9-hole course, plus
there is also a training course and they can also provide training courses for both groups
and individuals. There is also a restaurant and a shop and the golfing centre is open seven days a week from 8am
through to 8.30pm.

Quad Biking
You can rent a quad bike to use on dedicated circuits that are on secure land and are
designed according to the age group.
This is open on a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and every day of the week during the

Karting
You can also try your hand at Karting and this is available for adults and children over
the age of six and is also on a secure circuit.
Again this activity is open on a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, plus it is open every day
of the week during the school holidays from 12 noon through to 8pm in high season and
1.30pm to 7pm in the low season.

Water sports
There are different aspects of sailing that you
can choose to enjoy from catamarans to dinghies and also canoeing and this area is open
throughout the year for you to enjoy.
These facilities are available for beginners and the more experienced where you can also
get courses, workshops and training from qualified instructors and even training for
competitions.

Horseback riding
There is a Riding school for both children and adults which is open from 9am through to
7pm every day of the week, however, it is only open on a Monday to Friday during the
school holidays.
It is suitable for any level of expertise from a beginner through to training for

Fishing
If you like fishing then you can go course or carp fishing at the lake of Saint-Quentin
and the AAPPMA association accredits fishing and protection of the aquatic environment and
offers many activities throughout the year for both children and adults.
You can book for one day or more at a time and if you do not have a French fishing licence, then you can also pay for this within
the cost and there is also a reasonably priced restaurant located in a particular area
next to the lake that is open to the public.

Other Activities
There is a wave pool, which is open from June through to late August along with a green
space to picnic, a cafeteria and also games for the children.
On a weekday the wave pool is open from 12 noon through to 8pm, on a Saturday it is open
from 1pm through to 8pm and on a Sunday it is open from 11am through to 8pm.
There is also a tree-top adventure course available where you can get great views of the

can negotiate suspension bridges, ladders, bridges, jumps and the Tarzan Tyrolean zip.
You can also rent a bike, go mountain biking, hire pedal cars, play mini golf and table
