Also within walking distance there are some fabulous restaurants
such as the Taillevent
and Senderens,
the famous Fauchon
shop and restaurant, the brasserie Boeuf sur le Toit,
or for something a little different you could try the Korova with items on
the menu such as lobster hotdogs!
The Hotel Facilities
As you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Paris,
there is a spacious lobby and 24 hour reception with tri-lingual staff, a comprehensive
concierge service, porters and room service. Plus there is a secure area to leave
your luggage if arriving early prior to being able to access your room or when wishing to
collect your bags later in the day after checking out.
There is a comfortable lounge area along with a bar for you to relax and enjoy the
atmosphere, maybe taking advantage of the fact that they have International newspapers
available so you can keep up to date with what is happening in your own country.
At the New Hotel Roblin they also have a restaurant called Le R Caf? that offers you fine
cooking with a trendy d?cor and is open each weekday at a lunch time and evening.
This is an ideal Paris hotel for those on business or visiting the City of Lights for
pleasure and there is even a fully equipped and dedicated business centre and meeting room
available. WiFi is of course available, but this is at a cost of 10€ for one
hour or 22€ for 24 hours.
Other hotel services include a Safety deposit box at reception, a laundry and dry cleaning
service, a shoe shining service and baby sitting service.
Breakfast can be served in your room on request as a continental breakfast or as a buffet
breakfast in the restaurant and is available from 7am through to 10am on weekdays and from
7am through to 11am at the weekend.
Hotel Room Facilities
As previously mentioned there are 78 rooms in total and these are comprised of 25 standard
rooms, 39 superior rooms, 12 deluxe rooms with four of these being triple rooms and 2
suites.
Each room at the New Hotel Roblin obviously has an en-suite bathroom but this also
includes complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer. Some rooms
also have a separate toilet.
There is air conditioning to each room, a flat screen TV with international channels, a
desk, mini-bar, direct dial telephone and personal safe. WiFi internet connection is
available, but for a charge.
An iron and ironing board are available upon request, plus you can also request a child's
bed, providing this is done at the time of booking.
Rates as of 2008: A standard room is from 290€ and a deluxe or triple room is from
400€. If having a continental breakfast in your room this is 16€ per
person, or a buffet breakfast in the restaurant is 18€ per person.
