Hall's Beer Tavern In Paris

Hall's Beer Tavern is exactly what you would expect from the name, with around two hundred different beers including numerous Belgium brews to choose from and approximately twelve on tap.

It is a popular sports bar with a large screen TV that hangs from the classic pub decor of exposed beams and stone and you will find the place frequented by lots of students and a younger crowd, especially with the international music that they play as well.

Hall's Beer Tavern is located in a very tourist type area of Paris in the 1st arrondissement between the Pompidou Centre and the Forum des Halles.  It is also close to Notre Dame Cathedral and of course, the River Seine.

Hall's Beer Tavern In Paris

This a great place to stop for a refreshment when your legs are starting to feel weary, but they also have quite an extensive menu with snacks and main meals, providing a traditional French style of cuisine along with the more traditional pub style food as well, and all at a very reasonable cost.

You could expect items on the menu such as mussels, roast pork, French fries, steak, omelettes, pasta, burgers, salads, cheese platters, and much more, but don't expect any fancy table service as this is a down to earth place with a relaxed atmosphere that serves good quality home cooked food along with friendly staff.

Although you can stay inside, on a nice day you could choose to have your drink and your meal just outside underneath the bright yellow and black canopy and watch the people going by, plus of course, there is now no smoking inside at all.

Bar & Restaurant Guide Key Points

Hall's Beer Tavern is open on a Monday to Saturday from 10am through to 2am in the morning, yet is closed on a Sunday.

The restaurant is open from 11am through to 1am in the morning, again from a Monday to Saturday.

There are always special offers available such as a main course and two pints for 25€ or two courses and two pints for around 32€, which are chosen from the a la carte menu.

There is also a special known as a Cheers menu for around 20€ that includes two courses from a set menu and 1 cocktail or draft beer.  All these offers do change but any of the special formula set options that are in place such as the three course option, are usually available daily from 11am.

The dress code is casual and you often get people arriving just to experience different beers and even though there is no age limit to go into the Hall's Beer Tavern, it is not really one of the best places to take children.

The nearest Metro station is Les Halles.
