World Place Restaurant in Paris

This nightclub and restaurant in Paris is located in an old movie theatre and is situated close to the Champs Elys?es and well-situated in the wealthy Triangle d'Or neighbourhood of Paris, it has become a fashionable club for many businessmen.

Originally the food was on an Asian theme, but this has now been turned to a very Mediterranean influence with dishes like tuna steak accompanied by chorizo butter, but the whole cuisine consists of refined world food rather than anything that is traditional French food and the drinks including the wine list are both extremely international.

World Place has become a popular place for holding private parties, meetings, banquets, etc and for these one of the mezzanines or the dining room will be utilised and hence why they are not open fully every day of the week.

With three celebrity owners of World Place, this certainly helps with popularity and maintaining that buzz of a frequently changing restaurant and club, but with the fantastic modern decor and excellent food, it seems like a place that will continue to move with the times.  However, an early evening meal is great if you want quiet, maybe listening to a pianist, but the whole place gets busy after at least 10pm and is just warming up for the DJ to start at around midnight.

Restaurant Guide Key Points.

The World Place Restaurant in Paris is open from a Tuesday to a Saturday from 7.30pm through to 11.30am, but is closed on a Sunday and Monday.

The bar is actually open from 6pm through to 2am, but on a Friday and Saturday it does not close until 6am.

In theory this place is best for people over the age of 18, but younger are allowed to have a meal providing an adult accompanies them.

The ambience has different feels from trendy and swanky right through to the romantic and the dress is casual yet smart and stylish.

The approximate cost for a meal is anything upwards of ?65 without drinks.
