The Bistrot de Marius is an excellent bistro with a relaxed atmosphere that specialises in seafood, so if you like the idea of exceedingly fresh fish and shellfish expertly prepared but without the high cost of a top quality restaurant, then this has got to be the place to go.

The food is creative and refined with a perfect combination of freshness, delicacy and quality that offers people one of the capital city's best bargains for its seafood, plus combined with the friendly staff and warm atmosphere, this will be a welcome break from the more traditional French cuisine found in lots of establishments around Paris.

Le Bistrot de Marius Bistro In Paris

Inside the Bistrot de Marius, you will find a relaxed, down to earth atmosphere, with tables positioned close to one another adorned with chequered tablecloths and a bright lively d?cor, which means the place can get quite noisy with the chatter yet it is always buzzing, so is a great place to eat out in Paris with friends.

Probably one of the reasons why it has become so popular, is the fact that the excellent restaurant in Paris called the Marius et Janette, which has a phenomenal reputation for its supreme seafood delicacies, is also the owner of this bistro and hence maintains its quality of seafood dishes.

They are actually located on the same street as one another, which is close to the River Seine, but also the most famous avenue in the World, the Champs Elysees and they are both only a short walk from some of the popular tourist attractions like the most well known landmark in Paris, the Eiffel Tower, or the Arc de Triomphe.

But lets take a look at some of the dishes on offer at this Paris bistro, which of course do change rather frequently depending upon the seasons and also what fresh produce is available that day.  Delicacies like tuna carpaccio, marinated sea bass, scallops a la plancha with virgin olive oil, dourade gris au sel, which is basically a whole fish stuffed with rosemary and baked in rock salt and sole meuni?re can all feature here.  Even exotic dishes like sea urchins may appear written up on a chalkboard that lists the daily specials, plus you can also make up your own seafood platters.

However, if you are with a group of people where someone really doesn't like fish, then they do serve one meat dish, which is usually a steak, but lets face it, you dine here because of the high quality seafood!
