L'Angle du Faubourg Family Restaurant In Paris

Taillevent was the original restaurant that opened in 1946 and has three Michelin stars, but when the son of Andre Vrinat took over he decided to open another restaurant, which he called l'Angle du Faubourg.

This restaurant opened in 2001 and is a complete contrast to the Taillevent and yet still has a great focus on wines, as there are over 200 wines on offer, all established by Les Caves Taillevent, which is also run by the same company which has a wine cellar with a selection of over 1,300 types of wine, and is situated just up the road from l'Angle du Faubourg.

L'Angle du Faubourg Family Restaurant In Paris

Known to many as a wine bistro, you will find that inside is contemporary with cement floors and brick toned walls, but with a warm atmosphere where there is not just the main dining room, but also a cellar dining room that is used for lunches, wine tasting events and private functions.

The A la Carte menu or in French Carte des Mets is always constantly being updated and is based upon traditional and classic French cuisine, with dishes such as lamb shoulder and veal available.  Yet the Carte des Vins, or wine list that is pages and pages long, is also always being updated and you can purchase wine by the glass or by the bottle.

Situated in the 8th Arrondissement, this restaurant in Paris has six cooks and a pastry cook, and even though it has only been open since 2001, l'Angle du Faubourg already holds one Michelin star and yet is still a great place to eat out with family or friends at a reasonable cost, for Paris.
