You will be pleased to know that this Paris hotel is
accessible to the disabled with all the main amenities on the ground floor, plus there is
a lift which saves you having to drag your luggage up the original staircase that has
still survived even after renovations over the time.
The Grand Hotel de Turin has a 24 hour reception and concierge service to help you get the
most out of your holiday in France by organising tickets for shows, arranging airport
shuttle services, tours and
excursions such as a cruise
on the River Seine, making dinner reservations at the many Paris restaurants and
much more.
The breakfast room, located on the ground floor, is large and modern with a very large
mirror adorning one wall that gives the illusion of additional space and they serve a
buffet style continental breakfast each morning, but if you have problems getting up in
the morning, then do not fear as you can request a wake-up call so that you do not miss
out.
Also on the ground floor is a modern clean cut lounge with bright red seating and sofas,
that is a great place to relax after a hectic day of sight seeing around Paris.
The Grand Hotel de Turin also offers internet access, which can be accessed from the rooms
and this is a cost of €2 for 24 hours.
Hotel Room Facilities
The Grand Hotel de Turin actually has 2 rooms situated on the ground floor that are
suitable for those with reduced mobility and one particular bathroom is designed in such a
way that it can be used by wheelchair users.
The remainder of the hotel rooms are spread over the other five floors and they even have
family rooms for up to four people.
Each of the hotel rooms is pretty basic and almost quaint in their styling, but they all
have an en-suite bathroom, a TV, telephone and a personal safe is available for a cost of
€3 per day.
Rates as of 2010: A Single room is €92, a Double or Twin room is from €98, a
Triple hotel room is €123 and a Quadruple room is €148. The Continental
breakfast is a cost of €7 per person but is half price for children under 12 years of
age.
