The Hotel Facilities
In the reception and lobby you find the staff including the receptionist do speak English,
along with a WIFI internet connection, comfortable sofas for relaxing after a day of sight
seeing and with a stone floor, table, plus lots of greenery, this really makes the outside
world come in.
You will be pleased to know that there is a lift, although it is very small, yet at least
you do not have to drag your luggage up flights of stairs.
Covered parking is also available for approximately €18 per day, which is a great
benefit for those that have decided to travel to Paris via their own means of transport,
but the convenient situation of the New Paris Hotel so close to public transport doesn't
really warrant this!
There is a buffet style Continental breakfast that is served from 6am through to 10am in
the lovely 19th century vaulted stone cellar, yet for an additional charge you can also
request eggs, and bacon, although if you have tyhe standard Continental breakfast this can
be served to your room from 8am until 11am.
French papers are also available complimentary, so even if you do not know the French
language very well, they can still be a good way of getting to grips with what is
happening daily or learning a few more words that may be useful on you days out.
Hotel Room Facilities
The New Hotel Paris has sound proofing with double glazing along with free WiFi, plus air
conditioning is available in most rooms.
Each room has its own modern bathroom with either a bath or a shower and comes complete
with a hair dryer. They also have a TV, but some rooms even have a flat screen TV,
plus they come equipped with a direct dial telephone, modem plug and Cable TV with
international channels such as CNN, BBC, etc.
There is also a desk and chair supplied within virtually all rooms.
Rates as of 2010: A Single room is from €69, a Double room is also from €69 and
a Quadruple room is from €140.
The Continental Breakfast is €8.50 per person but if you wish to have the eggs and
bacon as well, there is an additional €2 supplement per person.
