Salon Chopin Museum In Paris

The Salon Frederic Chopin is a small museum dedicated to the famous composer Frederic Francois Chopin and is located within the Bibliotheque Polonaise à Paris in the 4th arrondissement of Paris.

This is a very small Paris museum only actually occupies one room of the Bibliotheque Polonaise à Paris but does contain quite a number of Frederic Chopin's personal mementos.

Salon Chopin Museum In Paris

Within the museum you can get to see exhibits that include his death mask and his favourite chair, a casting of his left hand by Auguste Clesinger, several paintings, numerous portraits and autographs, manuscripts and music notes, etc.

Plus, when you decide to visit this museum, you will find that there is also another museum called the Musee Adam Mickiewicz housed within the same building.

There are only guided visits available and these are on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings and are only available by prior appointment.

They are closed at all other times and days along with all French National holidays as well.
