Benoit Bistro In Paris

Benoit is a traditional Bistro in Paris that first opened its doors in 1912 and had been run by the same Petit family for three generations up until the year 2005 when the famous chef Alain Ducasse took over.

Benoit is renowned for its warm, friendly, atmosphere so typical of a family business and this is still the same today, plus it is preserved to be like an old fashioned Parisian Bistro with an authentic atmosphere and maintaining lots of its original decor such as the tiles and mirrors.

Benoit Bistro In Paris France

Situated in the 4th Arrondissement of Paris only a short walk from the Hotel de Ville and the Pompidou Centre, food lovers flock here to enjoy a delicious lunch or fabulous evening meal in this great location, also this is the only bistro in Paris to be listed in the Michelin Guide with one Michelin star.

Not surprising really, when you consider that Alain Ducasse is famous throughout the World as a prestigious Michelin star chef and his group runs restaurants all over the world in places such as Tokyo, Monte-Carlo, etc.

He also runs other restaurants in Paris such as the Jules Verne on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, Spoon Food and Wine, his main restaurant the Plaza Athenee, along with others around Paris.

The chef who worked at Aux Lyonnais, which is also run by Alain Ducasse, serves up fantastic traditional French cuisine such as marinated salmon, chicken cooked in a salt crust, frogs' legs in a mushroom cream sauce, an incredible cassoulet served in a cast-iron pot and much more classic French food to tempt your taste buds.

Restaurant Guide Key Points

The Benoit restaurant is open every day until 10pm for lunch and dinner and can accommodate around 6 people at a time.

However there is also a private function room with 20 additional covers.

There is a fixed price lunch menu for approximately €38 that includes a starter, main course and dessert, but does not include drinks.

The average price for an A la carte three course evening meal is around €60 not including drinks.

There is also a fantastic variety of wines on offer, especially French wines.

The dress code is smart casual leaning more towards the smart dressy for an evening and reservations are recommended.

Suitable for all ages this is a very family orientated dining experience.

The nearest Metro station is the Ch?telet.
