This high tech sports complex has exterior pools and internal
swimming facilities and a space reserved specifically for small children.
On the outside of the complex Piscine du Palais des sports a Puteaux in the Ile de France region, there are swimming pools that hold a
constant temperature of 28 degrees Celcius that also have wave machines and a wading pool,
plus there is a solarium with deck chairs. In fact, there is actually a beach area
that stretches to around 3000 metres.
Outside, not only will you find deckchairs but also palm trees, a fountain to massage the
back, the whirlpool and an area that is like a small river so that you can go against the
current and the outdoor facilities are open until it reaches around zero.
From the outside, the Piscine du Palais des sports a Puteaux sports complex with its large
columns, looks like an ancient temple, but inside you will find a great swimming pool that
is open all year round and where they hold swimming lessons.
Also, inside you will be able to take advantage of a spa area with sauna, Jacuzzi and a
hammam, which is basically steam baths and massage area.
Other facilities within this sports complex include a dance hall, obviously a gym and
complete state of the art fitness centre, a bar and a cafe style restaurant, where you can
even choose to eat on the terrace.
The changing rooms are completely all white in d?cor, but always look very clean and
although this particular sports complex is more expensive than some standard swimming pools in Paris, it is well worth it for
the facilities.
The average cost for this leisure centre is around 8€ per person, but this does
depend upon age and whether you are a resident of the area and in some cases can be a lot
cheaper.
You will find that this sports complex is open all year round except for most Monday's and
on national holidays.
