Val d'Europe, which translates to Valley of Europe, is a part of
the new town known as Marne-la-Vall?e and the Sea Life Val d'Europe is located in a new
ultra-modern shopping mall, that is packed with plasma screens broadcasting television
programmes.  The entrance to the Sea Life Aquarium is located in the commercial
centre, and is called The Terraces, where you also have access to numerous restaurants,
cafes and bars, plus with the ticket to Sea Life Val d'Europe you also get free parking.

The Sea Life Aquarium is the biggest aquarium in the Ile-de-France
region, situated in the Seine et Marne area, and is an unforgettable underwater
        adventure for the whole family.

This fantastic place is only around five minutes away from the Disneyland Resort Paris, around 20 minutes
from the Porte de Bercy and only around 20 minutes from the Capital City of Paris and is a great day for everyone.

There are amazing facts that are provided as you are wandering around in awe, and you will
find this place full of excitement and amazement, yet it is also very educational as well,
and one of the main issues that the Sea Life group try to get over to all that visit any
of their centres in Europe, is that of marine conservation.

More recently added to the aquarium are a Tropical Sharks Lagoon and a Seahorse Breeding
Centre and the Sea Life Val d'Europe has the largest collection of shark species in France
for you to discover.  Also added are the turtles within the tropical section.

You can get to visit almost fifty open tanks that are spread over 2,500 square metres
encountering even more marine species like moray eels and tropical fish, plus there are
regular sessions where people can watch the fish and other marine life being fed, along
with other activities such as touch pools, quiz trails and children's games.

Those who love to see unusual things within aquariums such as wrecks, will find the
decorations in the tanks absolutely great, and they range from a reconstruction of
Atlantis, and the sinking of the Titanic, through to statues, fishing nets, and buoys.

The Sea Life Val d'Europe is open all year round except for the 25th December and the 1st
January from 10am through to 5.30pm.

It is a great place for all the family to enjoy and is free for children aged 3 and under,
but all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
